Conference & Event Registrations
- Cancellations: Requests for registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to the SLOS Secretariat at [email protected].
- Refund Eligibility: Cancellations made 30 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund (minus administrative fees). Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may receive a 50% refund.
- No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for “no-shows” or cancellations made less than 7 days before the event.
- Transfer: You may transfer your registration to another SLOS member at no additional cost, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the event starts.
Surgical Tools & Clinical Equipment
- Returns: We accept returns on surgical instruments within 7 days of delivery.
- Condition: Due to medical health and safety regulations, instruments must be unused, unopened, and in their original sterile packaging. Any item that has been used or had its seal broken cannot be returned.
- Non-Returnable Items: Custom-ordered clinical tools or personalized items are non-refundable.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item (or process your event cancellation), we will notify you of the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original method of payment via PayHere within 7–10 business days. Please note that bank processing times may vary.
Damaged or Defective Items
If a surgical tool arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no additional shipping cost to you.
Shipping Costs
The member is responsible for paying shipping costs for returning items unless the return is due to a shipping error or a defective product.
